There are a large number of common garden plants that are deadly to our pets due to toxins they contain. Different parts of the plant are toxic depending on the individual plant species. The list is very long and there are many publications-books, papers and websites where these can be found.
- azalea, rhododendron and any other plants in this family
- jonquils, daffodils, tulips
- lily of the valley
I am not suggesting you go and rip all of these from your garden but please be vigilant of your pets behaviour. If they chew plants you may need to be very careful.
