RECOMMENDED WORMING REGIME FOR
DOGS AND CATS
Worm treatment for puppies and kittens should commence at two weeks of age (a syrup is ideal at this stage) and continue every two weeks until the animal is 12 weeks of age.
From age 12 weeks to 6 months - monthly worming is advised and it is important to be sure that the tablet is a ‘complete wormer’ to cover all types of worms. If you are unsure then ask at your veterinary clinic.
After six months of age it is considered appropriate to give a worming treatment every three months and continue this regime for the animals lifetime – again always use a ‘complete wormer’.
